De arbeidsløses memoarer

Det er mandag, og Frederic og jeg har bestemt oss for å starte en spalte på KarlKleive.com under navnet “De arbeidsløses memoarer.” Memoarene er myntet på “ni-til-fire folket” som ugle-ser oss. Er det misunnelse? Er det hele en misforståelse? Synes de vi er en gjeng med dagdrivende samfunnssnyltere? Eller føler de at vi har privilegier som de ikke har siden vi kan sove til de kommer hjem fra jobb? Her kan alle folk bedømme selv utifra “De arbeidsløses memoarer”, og gjerne komme med innspill på Kalles chat. For ordens skyld: vi får ikke noe penger fra staten, og det er ikke moro å være nyutdannet og arbedsløs. VI HAR IKKE NOE Å GJØRE.
MANDAG 10.11 - TV DAGEN
Dagen startet med at Frederic vekket Karl til frokost ved to tiden, og vi spilte litt piano og sjekket mail (for å se om det var kommet noen nye jobber på finn.no). Etter en nydelig frokost med egg og bacon, var tiden inne for en TV stund med kvalitets TV som Beverly Hills 90210 og Steg for steg. Da nyheter på tegnspråk begynte og vi virkelig følte kjedsomheten på kroppen, la Karl frem forslaget om å kjøre til Holmensenteret (ca 2 mil kjøretur. red.anm.) for å kjøpe hårvoks. Frederic fór opp og strålte av lykke. Endelig noe å gjøre!
Holmensentert var oppskrytt, men vi fikk tak i hårvoks, og vendte nesen mot IKEA for å kjøpe nattbordslampe. Karl fant nattbordslampe til 59 kroner, og vi tok oss selv i å sammenligne alt på IKEA med prisen på et Happy Meal på McDonalds.
Da vi kom hjem igjen, lagde vi mat og satt oss på kjøkkenet for å spise. Men det ble for galt å være to arbeidsledige slasker ved kjøkkenbordet, så vi beveget oss kjapt inn til TV’n med maten. NRK viste Blender, og vi switsjet mellom Kongen av Queens og Blender.
I skrivende stund sitter vi og ser på finalen av ungkaren, og Frederic har begynt å mase om at grandiosa’n snart må i ovnen. Planen for kvelden består av mye sofasliting, pizza når Karl blir sulten og utallige kvalitetsshow på TV.
TIRSDAG 11.11 - HULL I TANNA OG SIMULA
Walker Texas Ranger ruller over skjermen og vi er atter en gang samlet for å nedtegne dagens krumspring. Idag var vi tidlig oppe (ca klokken elleve red. anm.) og hadde begge hvert vårt gjøremål. Frederic dro til tannlegen og hadde ett hull i fortanna mens Karl dro til IT-Fornebu for å være forsøkskanin for Simula. Da smerten var over i tanna til Frederic, var også dagens gjøremål over for hans del og han befant seg plutselig rådløs i Oslos gater. I vente på at lillebror skulle bli ferdig på skolen, sullet Frederic alene rundt i byen i to timer som en annen arbeidsledig boms. To timer i byen kan høres ut som en drøm for en vanlig shopper, men i Frederics tilfelle bestod derimot byturen av å oppdage nye gatenavn og å kjøpe wienerbrød på Kiwi.
Etter at Karl var ferdig på Fornebu og hadde vært innom for å fikse et ufiksbart PC problem hos gamle venner, var tiden inne for TV. Sjakalen, Friends og Seinfeld sto på plakaten hos Preben og vi frydet oss over å igjen få glo på idiotboksen.
Nå er vi som sagt samlet foran Walker Texas Ranger, og imorgen skal Frederic bli frisk mens Karl skal på jobb - klokken fire…
ONSDAG 12.11 - KARLS GJØREMÅL BLIR FREDERICS KJEDSOMHET
Idag ser vi 60 minutes til fordel for andre episode av Walker Texas Ranger.
Dagen startet med at Frederic prøvde å ringe Karl, men måtte innse at han sov og ikke var villig til å stå opp for å ta telefonen. Håpet om ett gjøremål svant hen da Karl hadde ting å foreta seg, og Frederic lusket ut til egg og bacon mutters alene. Mens Karl var og møtte Anna, var Frederic hjemme og var syk. Han spilte piano, lette etter jobber å søke på og så Simpsons på TV helt til Karl var ferdig på jobb og ville at vi skulle spise middag - klokken åtte. Vi endte opp med ett kompromiss da Karl ville ha middag og Frederic hadde spist. Løksuppe ble redningen på vår uoverenstemmelse, og Preben kom på besøk for å se Coyote Ugly på TV3. Preben dro hjem for å legge seg for å komme seg opp på det han kaller jobb imorgen mens vi ble sittende og se på TV.
Frederic sier han har bacon som går ut på dato snart, så vi må få spist opp endel imorgen. Det er planen for morgendagen. Bortsett fra danseforestilling på kvelden - da skal vi ut å more oss blant vanlige folk, og det kan jo bli en prøvelse for folk med vår eremitt tilværelse. Mer om dette i neste kapittel.
TORSDAG 13.11 - AETAT DAG 1
02:50: Vi sitter og drikker vin med Lene og Helene. De to jentene skal opp tidlig, så det blir en tidlig kveld. Ikveld har der skjedd store begivenheter. Vi har vært ute blant folk!
Igår ble vi enige om at vi skulle spise frokost klokken elleve. Så Frederic ringte elleve, men Karl hadde vært lenge oppe og nektet å ta telefonen. På syvende forsøk fra Fred tok Karl telefonen klokken to. Vi bestemte oss for å dra ned til Aetat for å melde oss arbeidsledige for å høste godene samfunnet kan gi oss snyltende skadedyr. Det endte med at vi tok med oss endel skjemaer og lovet å levere dem imorgen (et drøyt løfte?)
Etter Aetat vendte vi fokus mot Scenehuset hvor Helene skulle danse i en danseforestilling. En kjapp pizza hos Anders måtte til før forestillingen begynte klokken 18:00. Vi troppet opp på Scenehuset 17:55 men fant kjapt ut at Karl hadde sett feil, og at forestillingen begynte klokken 20:00 (som arbeidsløse er vi jo ikke kjent for å være flinke med avtaler og klokkeslett). Vi dro til Preben for å slå ihjel litt tid med TV og PC spill.
Etter en særs alternativ kulturkveld på Scenehuset, dro Karl til The Broker for å drikke øl med Lene mens Frederic dro til Helene for å spille piano. Vi endte til slutt opp sammen hjemme hos Karl som vanlig, men mot normalt så vi ikke hverken sett Walker Texas Ranger eller Sone2. Vi endte opp med flere vinflasker og besøk av Lene og Helene. Imorgen skal vi atter en gang til Aetat og gjøre ett nytt forsøk på å melde oss arbeidsledige (tror vi).

FREDAG 14.11 - AETAT DAG 2?
Vi er hos Preben og drikker cognac. Klokken kryper mot fem om morgenen, og vi har har innsett at vi ikke kommer oss til Aetat før mandag.
Dagen idag begynte klokken 07:30 for Karl sin del, men han endte kjapt tilbake i sengen etter en frokost med egg og bacon. Han ble i seng til han skulle på jobb ved fire tiden, mens Frederic hadde fått utrettet ting imens Karl sov. Frederic sto nemlig opp ved tre tiden og lette etter jobber på Internett.
Etter at Karl var ferdig på jobb, dro han på vorspiel hos Ragnhild som hadde gebursdag. Det ble som vanlig hæla i taket, og ettervhert gikk turen ut på byen for å møte Frederic og Preben. Det ble en ganske fuktig bytur, og nå sitter vi altså på nachspiel hos Preben, og Frederic skriker etter mer cognac. Jeg (Karl) kan ikke skrive mer, for jeg går glipp av mye god drikke.
Kvelden ble til slutt en alko-dundermix av godt humør og moro. Klokken er 08:00 og vi klarte å strekke nachspielet lenger enn en fjortis strekker en Hubba Bubba. Nachspielet hos Preben bestod av Counster Strike og militær historier som Karl ikke skjønte noenting av. Men innimellom var det gåter og vitser for enhver smak. Det kunne vart for evig, var det ikke for at tiden alltid er imot oss. Solen er på vei opp og vi undrer, hvor blir det av Pat Sharps “Fun Factory” på Sky Channel. Det er en morgen som dette vi ville solgt Henki “skomaker’n” Kolstad for kun én time med vår alles Pat. Hvem husker vel ikke de fantastiske innslagene fra He-Man og Transformers?

LØRDAG 15.11 - TØRRLAGT LØRDAG
Siden denne spalten startet har ingen av oss stått opp senere enn 15:30. Denne rekorden ble slått lett av Karl idag som ikke åpnet gluggene før 17:00. Frederic var derimot en friskus og var oppe allerede 14:30. Han gjorde ingenting en stund, men spiste så middag både hjemme og i godt lag hos Eirik. Da Karl hadde karret seg ut av bingen, kræsjet han kjapt foran dumboksen og ble sittende der frem til ti-tiden da Fred var ferdig i selskapslivet og reddet ham ut av tv-transen.
Det viser seg at vår inaktivitet i hverdagen har smittet over på vår favoritt ukedag: lørdagen! Vi vet ikke hvor positivt dette er, men ved 24-tiden satt vi benket foran skjermen hos Preben for å se “Scooby Doo”, uten sterkere medisin enn isté. Da klokken hadde passert 03:00 kom Stig valsende inn med en hærskare fulle fanter som alle var i overstadig nachspielhumør. Da vi var edrue og ufreshe som aldri før ble det til at vi dro hjem fra fest, sprit og damer. Om det var ren fornuft eller en indre trang til å slite videre i Karls tv-sofa vites ikke. Men her sitter vi nå engang igjen, nettopp for atter en gang å fortelle verden om den thrilleren av et liv vi lever. Kvelden avsluttes med et glass Tine lettmelk og slutten av en Chevy Chase film fra 1981. Den var forøvrig ikke like fet som Chevy’s “Hjelp, vi må på ferie”-perler.
SØNDAG 16.11 - HVER VÅR DAG
Idag har vi ikke snakket med hverandre før nå (02:00). Karl har jobbet med Webilities hos Preben og vært på Café hos Tina med Annie. Den siste delen av kvelden bestod av å se film fra Spania, mimre om strendene og å spise Texbuger.
Frederic’s dag begynte med en innsats i heimen, nemlig støvsuging. Etterpå ringte Anna, ivrig etter å lære mer av et pianostykke Fred tidligere hadde lært henne begynnelsen av. Det utartet seg til en pianosession pr. telefon som fungerte overrasskende bra. Hun var en god elev og kom et stykke videre. Så var det skriving og mailing av jobbsøknad som stod på Fred’s dagsorden. Følelsen av et klart hode på en søndag morgen var uvant, men det kom sannsynligvis godt med i skriveprosessen. Skråsikker på at søknaden var en vinner satt han seg deretter til å zappe gjennom det tv-søndagen tilbyr en på formiddagen. Dette er som kjent skralle saker, så resten av dagen gikk med til avislesing og matspising.
Som dere kanskje ser bærer denne dagen preg av å være innholdsløs på en litt annen måte enn alle de foregående dagene. Det er nok fordi dette er spaltens første søndag, og søndager er jo ment å være hviledager. Derfor blir det heller ikke like morsomt at vi tar det veldig med ro idag. Men fortvil ikke - vi skal så godt vi kan fortsette å ta det med ro imorgen.
