Paa utsiden skulle man kanskje tro at Australia og Norge ligner ganske mye paa hverandre naar det kommer til effektivitet, teknikk og service. Dette stemmer ogsaa til en viss grad, men vi vil likevel paastaa at naar det gjelder en del ting ligger de noen skritt bak og..dette er skritt som til tider kan vaere ganske saa irriterende.
Leiligheten: Man kan ikke lukke igjen døra inn til Preben sitt bad. Eller, det gaar kanskje an aa lukke den, men da gaar det ikke an aa komme seg ut igjen. Det gaar nemlig ikke an a bruke dørhaandtaket hverken fra den ene eller andre siden. Oppvaskmaskina har jordfeil saa sikringen gaar naar vi prøver aa skru den paa og vaskemaskina har allerede hatt lekasje tre ganger med paafølgende oversvømmelse. Aircon fungerer ikke, det kommer et lite gufs fra ventilene, men gradestokken kryper aldri under 26 grader. Ingen av dusjene fungerer, de holder seg ikke oppe og det spruter mer vann ut av ledningen enn ut av dusjhodet og det gjør det helt umulig aa dusje paa to minutter. Ellers mangler vi spotter, lys over komfyren og ymse andre smaatterier.
Det meste av dette skulle blitt ordnet av vaar kjaere eiendomsagent, men hun har gaatt under jorden etter at kontrakten ble signert. Vi har sendt inn et visst “Form 11″ og da har de plikt paa seg til aa fikse innen en uke, den uka har allerede gaatt, men vi gir dem noen ekstra dager pga paaska.
Internett: Alt gaar sakte. Det gikk sakte aa faa det innstallert, det gikk sakte aa faa det ordna da det ikke fungerte første gangen og det gaar sakte i seg selv. Jeg vet ikke størrelsen paa linja, men vet at Karl og Preben ikke kan spille dataspill (les CS) samtidig, og at det tar fryktelig lang tid aa laste ned en vanlig side naar de prøver seg paa dette. Dessuten har vi en limit paa nedlasting, og det var det visst bare i internetts spede barndom at vi hadde i Norge.
Bilen: Alt gikk sakte for aa faa den reparert ogsaa, men naa som den er i orden er alle sorger glemt:)
Ahh..det var godt aa faa det av hjertet..naa kan jeg fortsette og skrive oppgave om aa finne “claims and supportive facts”.

Hehe, håper det ordner seg for dere down under. Her drukner vi i snø, og det ser visst ikke ut til å stoppe heller.
Ellers lever man på en rosa sky, har fått praksisplass på Fornebu Dyreklinikk, og starter min dyrepleieutdanning 1 august.
3 år, der hvert år er fordelt på 10 ukers teori i Danmark og resten av året med praksis på Fornebu.

Hei, hei! Må nesten le litt, men det høres ut som et studenthybelliv fra den gangen ‘man hadde et bittelite rom oppå loftet, med seng og bord og vaskestell og et skap med dress og lusekofte, men man koste seg allikevel.’ Sangen går videre, men det dropper vi. Det er fint å oppleve dette slik at man etterhvert vil lengte hjem. Det er nå vår trøst. Ellers er det faktisk -6 her hos oss, men vi slipper å drukne i snø som man opplever andre steder i landet. Så vidt jeg vet kom det over 1 m på Oppdal tidlig i påskeuka. Høres fristende ut, ikke sant. Tante Grethe fyllte 70 2. påskedag og Elisabeth snakket med henne og jeg fikk hilst. Ett spørsmål: Funker ikke -å- hos dere? Rart ettersom -ø- går fint. Ellers er det fint med oss, så enig med deg: No worries, mate!
